On February 18, 2020, the African Union Mission to the United States in association with the African Diplomatic Corps, the U.S Agency for International Development and the Maryland Governor’s Office of Community Initiatives hosted the U.S – Africa Trade Conference in Baltimore.


The conference provided a platform for U.S and Africa trade and investment partnerships and interactions among American and African businesses - with current operations using the Baltimore port and airport – and prospective exporters and importers. Sessions included AGOA Utilization: Prosper Africa, a new U.S government trade and investment, initiative; trade facilitation; and networking opportunities. His Excellency Michael Moussa-Adamo
delivered the opening address as Deputy Dean of the Group of African ambassadors.
